Bruce Djite: Rise Global Ambassador for Sport and Development
Bruce Djite is an Australian international Soccer (Football) player who was born in Washington DC and migrated to Australia with his family at age three. Based on his family background, his place of birth and his current citizenship, Bruce was in the unique position to be able to represent Australia, USA, Cote D'lvoire and Togo at international level. He is currently fluent in English and French and remains proud of his diverse background.
After growing up in Australia and later securing a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport, Bruce has gone on to represent Australia at u20, u23 and senior international level with the 'Socceroos'. He is currently playing professionally in the Australian A-League and has also played professionally in Turkey. From a relatively young age he has had the opportunity to travel the world with both the Australia national team as well as his various club sides.
Bruce is now considered among the rising young stars of Australian Football.
