Rise Global signs MOU with Australian College of Physical Education

Rise Global has teamed up with The Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) to consider opportunities to develop the physical education and sports sector training capabilities of countries within in the Middle East.


Warren Jacobson, Managing Director of ACPE, said ‘The opportunity to partner with Rise Global is strong fit for ACPE as we are both institutions that share a commitment to furthering the development of sport education outcomes internationally through teaching and learning excellence.’


‘This MOU is the foundation for a range of shared initiatives and facilitates further expansion of ACPE’s extensive sporting education experience. The College looks forward to sharing its innovative teaching within sports and physical education disciplines.’


Rise Global is involved in development of courses for sports professionals, managers and professional athletes with a focus on facilitating access to internationally recognised certification. Rise Global consults to governments and corporate bodies to develop these outcomes.


‘With forthcoming events such as the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022 and the UAE considering a bid for the 2024 Olympic Games, countries in the Middle East region are looking to build their physical education, sports business/management and sports science capability’, said Rise Global Executive Director Dr Stephen Treloar.


‘This agreement with the Australian College of Physical Education is part of a broader strategy through which Rise Global collaborates with national and international teaching and research sport institutions, as well as athletes and sporting clubs, to deliver the best and most comprehensive educational opportunities.
