Rise Global delivers Swaziland National Sports Council Sustainability Strategy

Rise Global was recently appointed by the Swaziland National Sports Council to aid in the development and delivery of a sustainability strategy for Asidlale, a national program aimed at community sport, health, education and empowerment.

The development of the strategy included numerous site visits and meetings with local community sports leaders, participants and management as well as extensive deliberation with international experts. Care was taken to ensure that the strategy accurately reflected the local context, culturally, economically and politically and every effort was made to deliver a strategy that addressed the core issues in moving towards a simpler and more streamlined model for a more effective and efficient national program.

The strategy included:

  • Strategic & Operational Framework

  • Funding and Resource Mobilisation

  • Partnerships Framework

  • Communications, Marketing & Publicity Framework & Operational Plan

  • Training & Capacity Development Mapping Report

  • Monitoring & Evaluation Framework

Work on the strategy commenced in June 2013 with the final strategy completed and delivered in December 2013, before gaining final approval by the Swaziland National Sports Council in March 2014.
